IMDb[1] is a website that is a catalog for films and television shows; IMDb stands for "Internet Movie Database". The site is largely updated by site users, much like a wiki, but with submission moderation. This is a reason why Lostpedia does not consider IMDb an official source of information, as mistakes are frequently listed.
Every actor and actress and even the production crew have a personal page on IMDb that details previous work and a short biography section, depending on how much work the individual has done in the past.
A link to each actor's IMDb page can be found on the right of a Lostpedia page usually in the infobox under the photograph of the actor and reads "IMDb Profile".
