The Hollywood Studio Symphony is the orchestra that performs the musical score for Lost, and has performed on many other film and television soundtracks including Alias, The Bourne Identity, and Spider-Man 2. It is unlike a conventional symphony orchestra in the sense that it's members are contracted out individually per soundtrack, so it's configuration will change from session to session.
