A large number and variety of weapons have been used on the Island. This article serves as a catalog of significant weapons, types, and amounts on the Island.
From Flight 815
Pistols
- A SIG-Sauer P228, Edward Mars' sidearm ("Pilot, Part 2")
- Was found by Sawyer and used to kill the first polar bear ("Pilot, Part 2")
- Sawyer later used it to unsuccessfully euthanize the marshal ("Pilot, Part 2")
- The contents of the Halliburton case (see below) ("Whatever the Case May Be")
Miscellaneous
- Locke's suitcase full of knives ("Walkabout")
- A machete carried by Sawyer while hunting a boar ("Outlaws")
- An axe, presumably on the plane for emergency purposes ("House of the Rising Sun")

- In the Halliburton case were four pistols, along with several boxes of 9mm ammunition ("Whatever the Case May Be")
- One Beretta M92F

- Commonly known as "James Bond's gun"
- Oddly, despite the ammunition present, this gun has never been produced in a 9mm format
- One STAR B, or Colt M1911 9mm, that was later replaced by a second Beretta M92F

- A Soviet-made SKS rifle carried by Sayid at the end of Season 2 and through a large part of Season 3 ("Live Together, Die Alone")

- A Remington 700 hunting rifle

- A Winchester model 1912
- A Remington model 1100 that Desmond had on the sailboat.

- Used by Kate to injure Desmond in the Swan following his capture of Locke and Jack ("Orientation")

- A Smith & Wesson model 10 revolver found by Locke on a DHARMA worker's corpse that he used to unsuccessfully attempt suicide ("Through the Looking Glass")
- Used by Locke to threaten Jack and unsuccessfully shoot the satellite phone ("Through the Looking Glass")
From the Kahana
- At least two Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine guns used by Keamy and Omar as they practice skeet shooting ("Meet Kevin Johnson")

- Another grenade was thrown at the mercenaries and killed Omar ("There's No Place Like Home, Parts 2 & 3")
Chemical weapons
- Multiple "ALSG272 Continuous Discharge, Smoke Grenade, CS" gas canister devices used to cover their departure from the Barracks ("Left Behind")
- While the ALSG272 is a real device, it is a "tear gas" weapon whose standard contents could not be responsible for the effects seen in the episode unless the original gas was replaced.
- The ALSG272 is only designed for outdoor use. Deploying it within buildings, as shown in the episode, would create a substantial risk of fire. See also:'Lost' fans look for clues
Mikhail's Mk 2 fragmentation hand grenade. ("Through the Looking Glass")
- Toxic gas used by the Hostiles during the Purge to kill the DHARMA staff on the Island ("The Man Behind the Curtain")
- The gas grenade used for the prop is a repainted "ALSG272 Continuous Discharge, Smoke Grenade, CS" ("The Man Behind the Curtain")
Nonlethal weapons
- Stun darts were used on Hurley, Jack, Kate, and Sawyer. ("Live Together, Die Alone") The darts administer an incapacitating electrical shock.
- They were also used lethally in the helicopter battle against the mercenaries ("There's No Place Like Home, Parts 2 & 3")
- Tasers were used by Danny and the Others at the runway. ("The Glass Ballerina")

Trivia
Production notes
- Most of the guns in the Swan station are of Eastern/Soviet bloc make.
Bloopers and continuity errors
- Due to production mistakes, the specific makes, models, and amounts of weapons featured on the show have accidentally changed multiple times. This makes full accounting of the weapons very difficult to manage.
