Golden pass

The "golden pass" is Oceanic Airlines' gift to the members of the Oceanic 6 that allows them to travel anywhere and as often as they please along the routes of the airline.
A flash-forward shows Jack after leaving the Island. During his meeting with Kate, he mentions the Oceanic "golden pass" he received, and how he has been making good use of it, flying every Friday night to locations such as Tokyo, Singapore and Sydney, which are all across the Pacific Ocean, where the plane originally crashed. He revealed that he prayed on each flight that he might crash, so that he might somehow return to the Island. ("Through the Looking Glass")
It may be presumed that Oceanic Airlines gave every survivor of Flight 815 who escaped the Island their "golden passes" as a goodwill gesture and apology for the plane crash, thereby allowing them to fly wherever and whenever they wanted with the company without payment.
