Theories may be removed if ...
  1. Stated as questions or possibilities (avoid question marks, "Maybe", "I think", etc).
  2. More appropriate for another article.
  3. Illogical or previously disproven.
  4. Proven by canon source, and moved to main article.
  5. Speculative and lacking any evidence to support arguments.
  6. Responding to another theory (use discussion page instead).
  • This does not include responses that can stand alone as its own theory.
  • Usage of an indented bullet does not imply the statement is a response.

Mikhail's story

  • Mikhail Bakunin was telling the truth concerning the nature of the Cable, Subterranean Conduit, the current state of DHARMA, and the dynamic between DHARMA and the Others. This would be a classic case of telling a truth within a lie. The technical information is true, but how Mikhail claims to know the information is false (initially). What happened to DHARMA is true, but his role in it is false (again, initially).
  • Ms. Klugh was there to try to fix the station
  • There was a glass eye found in the Arrow Station along with a bible, and a radio transmitter during the episode in Season 2 "The Other 48 Days". This could be related to Mikhail's eye patch and that he was somewhat involved in the Dharma Initiative.

Misc.

  • Michael was contacted in the Swan from the Flame to lure him to the Others, in "The 23rd Psalm".
  • If a food drop is initiated from the Flame, it seems reasonable to think that someone, probably from DHARMA, was there at the station when the drop occurred in "Lockdown". However, there could be other ways of initiating a drop, possibly from the mainland.
    • It could be time-based. However, when Locke wins the chess game, the computer video indicates he has accessed a "manual override". This could indicate that much of the operations controlled by the Flame are/were automated and thus the drop in "Lockdown" was a regularly scheduled event.
  • There was a large amount of fresh meat in the refrigerator/cooler. Seemingly too much for just two people to eat. Are there more cows? Did this station serve as a dairy or provider of fresh meat?
  • The saddle on the horse looks small for Ms. Klugh and rather ornate, instead of being utilitarian as one would expect on an isolated camp. It is possibly a child's saddle.
  • Entering "77" may have triggered a signal to the outside world in addition to the destruction of the facility.
  • Could easily have been a Flash Forward. It is very unlikely that he lived in Paris before going to the island. In season 1 Sayid spoke no French and gave Shannon a hard time about her lack of French. "Surely if you've lived there you must have remembered something."
    • He is only shown speaking his language and english, i might be that he had no contact with the french and their language. Also, didn't the producers confirm that the flash-forward in "Through the Looking Glass" was the first ff?

Ms Klugh's Death

  • Since much of the episode showed elements of strategy and gamesmanship similar to that of the chess game on the computer, Mikhail killing Bea Klugh can be considered a "queen's sacrifice", which is a well-known chess move.
