Theories may be removed if ...
  1. Stated as questions or possibilities (avoid question marks, "Maybe", "I think", etc).
  2. More appropriate for another article.
  3. Illogical or previously disproven.
  4. Proven by canon source, and moved to main article.
  5. Speculative and lacking any evidence to support arguments.
  6. Responding to another theory (use discussion page instead).
  • This does not include responses that can stand alone as its own theory.
  • Usage of an indented bullet does not imply the statement is a response.

See the Lostpedia theory policy for more details.

  • It is probably no coincidence that Elliott shares the same last name as American psychologist Abraham Maslow. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.
  • Elliott had a flash, similar to what Desmond had.
  • Whatever it exactly is that happened to him, it probably also happened to Michael and Walt.
  • Lisa Gellhorn is brought back to life by The Island as a reward for Elliott learning the lesson it was teaching him, and finding his "way home". The Black Smoke does come face to face with Elliott and chooses not to kill him, presumably because he is on his path home.
  • Elliott was exposed to intense radiation behind the Swan wall, just like Desmond was. When he left the island, he experienced symptoms similar to Desmond in "The Constant", except he's switching between parallel universes, instead of points in time. (There are no parallel universes on the show, but the game is not 100% canonical.)

Future

  • Elliott will appear on the show at a future date.
  • Will either end up dead or one of the Oceanic Six. Otherwise they will have to integrate him into the story, which didn't work well with Nikki and Paulo.
  • Will become one of the Others, after being kicked out of the group by Jack.
