The Dharma Initiative Recruiting Project, also simply known as "the Project", is the official title ABC is currently using for the new alternate reality game taking place between Season 4 and 5 of Lost. As part of the Octagon Global Recruiting event, a legal document for prospective candidates revealed the title within the terms and conditions section. The ARG is developed by the Lost writers, in conjunction with Australian marketing agency Hoodlum (who were also behind the Find 815 game).

It should be noted that the document says ABC is "preparing" the game, meaning the ARG at this time may be in its preliminary stage. Also the shortened form "the Project" could potentially be legal jargon as part of the release form, which coincidentally mimics the longer title.

The game's current main site is now Dharmawantsyou.com. It is stated on the site that a series of aptitude tests will be run over the coming weeks for fans to play. It is presumed that there will be 8 tests, as is coded into the site's XML, and also in line with the 8-sided logo. There is also a leaderboard on the site, suggesting such subsequent tests will be scored. It is possible that coming clues will present themselves simply in the course of these tests (meaning this alternate reality game is more explicitly structured and similar in nature to Find 815 than The Lost Experience).

The following video was shown at Comic-Con, and later "surfaced" on Youtube, of a fan being taken to the DHARMA booth at ComicCon, secretly taping what he saw and running off just in time. This video appears to be key to the narrative of this alternate reality game.

Trivia

• The new reconstitution of the DHARMA Initiative does not use the word Dharma as a capitalized acronym. This could simply be an oversight by the game's writers, or could be indicative that the project is no longer focusing on "heuristics and research on material applications", keeping the name Dharma for sentimental sake.
• The release form's arrangement of the trigrams in the new Dharma logo coincide with the arrangement of the classic logo. All other representations of this logo (Comic-Con, Dharmawantsyou.com) have had the arrangement rotated one quarter-turn clockwise.
