See the Lostpedia theory policy for more details.

  • Cassidy's ex-husband is connected to someone on the Island other than Sawyer.
  • Cassidy was always a con-woman from the start. Cassidy may have been Sawyer's long con, but Sawyer may have been Cassidy's even longer con.
    • Unlikely as she is pretty bad at the watch con. The con requires a partner to show interest, which is what convinces the target to part with their money. She enjoyed the danger of conning and was just attempting to do so on her own.
    • Although unlikely, due to her conversations with Kate in "Left Behind" (Cassidy really does love Sawyer, why else would she say so to a stranger?), it is notable that Cassidy does manage to get a lot of money from Sawyer for Clementine.
  • Looked very similar to the second woman with the gun from the Looking Glass station.
  • Kate will, after leaving the island, learn from Cassidy that Sawyer is the man who conned her. This may be moot if Sawyer is dead before Kate leaves the island.
