The African/Tunisian man is a character in "Confirmed Dead" portrayed by Kanayo Chiemelu.
He worked at the archaelogical dig where Charlotte tried to gain access to, but he told her the site was closed. After she bribed him, however, he allowed her entry. He seemed nervous that she was there, especially when she began excavating around the remains of a polar bear. He spoke to Charlotte in French rather than Arabic, Tunisia being a former French protectorate.
